Moonlighting is excited to announce the expansion of our production services into Croatia and neighbouring countries, Slovenia and Montenegro.
Working in partnership with seasoned English/Croatian/Slovenian producer Mario Zvan, we can now offer our signature, client-focused production expertise in the beautiful, production-friendly Adriatic region.
“This all started with our desire to give our clients more options for June, July & August which are Cape Town’s winter months,” explains Executive Producer and partner Shayne Brookstein. “We had already begun collaborating on an ad hoc basis with our great friend Mario at Blue Sky Adriatic, so forming a more formal partnership was the logical next step.”
Like South Africa, Croatia & Slovenia boast a diverse range of locations within a compact area, from the Mediterranean coast and villages to German-style towns, medieval castles and snowy Alpine mountains. The local crew is predominantly English-speaking and talent is sourced both locally and from surrounding European countries.
Moonlighting has known and worked with Mario Zvan for many years, both as clients through Blue Sky Kenya and as friends and colleagues through the Global Production Network, of which both companies are members. Our producers will be on the ground, working with Blue Sky to develop a hybrid production system that combines the strengths of both countries. “Our connection goes way back,” adds Mario. “Our collaboration makes huge sense as our businesses complement each other perfectly.”
