Moonlighting has been one of South Africa’s most trusted & innovative production services companies for more than 30 years, anticipating and adapting to whatever the world throws at us, always looking for new and better solutions. As budgets get tighter, thinking out of the box is second nature to us, and thanks to our combined experience, we usually solve it.

OUR EXPERIENCE has become increasingly diverse. We deliver products for multiple platforms and for all budget ranges – from conventional commercials & stills to all digital/social media formats, interviews, documentaries, reality TV ….

OUR RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY

We aim to reduce our carbon footprint in every way possible, both on-set and in the office. We are members of Green the Bid, work with Eco-Ninjas, and consult with sustainability consultant Alexandra de Valera through the Global Production Network to ensure that we maximise every opportunity.  

At the Office

Solar batteries fed by 60 solar panels are our primary source of power at the office; we enforce strict recycling and no-print policies; rainwater is collected in 4 x 5000l JoJo tanks for use in the toilets; we have recently introduced meat-free lunches twice a week!

On Set

We work closely with Eco-Ninja’s who are present on all our sets to manage all recycling and composting. No plastic water bottles, cups, lids, food packaging or cutlery are used on set with water bottles, water coolers and water trucks (where appropriate) provided; we enforce strict recycling and no-print policies; ride-shares are encouraged.
