COVID-19 is a speedbump. A big one. One of those sneaky ones that no-one was expecting. Read on to see how we’re staying on track in 2020 and beyond.
As we emerge into this brave new world of remote technology, shifting economies and political turmoil, producers need to feel more than ever that their projects will be delivered safely, on-budget, and on-schedule.
We’ve got your back. Moonlighting has been in production services for 30+ years. We’ve been through many world and industry-shaking changes, and we’ve always come out the other side. Each challenge offers an opportunity. We slow down, regroup, look for ways to do things differently and come through it stronger and better.
Moving up to the cloud
Like our colleagues all over the world, we all had to work from home for a time. We’ve adapted our systems to make life easier for production staff no matter what time of day it is or where they are.
Our accounting, casting, and location systems have also gone skyward, allowing improved responsiveness and accessibility.
We’ve rebuilt our casting studio to allow real-time, high-resolution images to flow in both directions when directors or other foreign production teams want to participate from abroad.
Using Remote to our advantage.
Remote isn’t just a solution for the pandemic environment. We’ve ensured that it’s so good that those who choose not to travel can still be fully involved. This minimises risk and saves your budget. Read our article on the many benefits of remote production here.
If you want to be an old dog, you’ve got to keep learning new tricks.
